Volocity RestorationMV
Volocity® RestorationMV incorporates the high speed deconvolution algorithms from Microvolution into the Volocity family to improve the quality and resolution of 3D data sets quickly and easily. Applied to standard widefield fluorescence microscope images, the result is superior quality confocal data. Confocal, spinning disk and multi-photon images may reveal even more detail through the removal of out-of-focus haze. Volocity Restoration is an essential imaging tool and supports a wide range of file formats from confocal microscopes and widefield systems.

Recommended Specification
Specifications from manufacturers change regularly so an exact configuration cannot be described. Please read this complete document and use the information it contains, together with material available from your vendor, to configure your system.
This module requires a Windows computer running Windows 7 (64-bit) or Windows 10. Additionally, because the software runs on the GPU of the computer, it requires a high-quality graphics card. Our current recommendations are:
-
NVIDIA graphics card with CUDA capabilities 2.0 or greater (see https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-gpus). Our recommendation is for the GeForce series, as this is optimal for other Volocity functionality, however, if only Microvolution is required, the Quadro, or Tesla series will work.
-
Multi-GPU option requires multiple NVIDIA cards (not required to be identical)
-
Up-to-date NVIDIA drivers (minimum version 369)
